In The Groove is located inside Central Coast Music, in beautiful Morro Bay, California.

Central Coast Music, owned by Eddie Frawley, has been a mecca for musicians across the Central Coast since 1990.

Curtis Miller, owner of In The Groove, moved his unique and quirky vinyl record store into Central Coast Music in 2019, along with his inventory of “groovy” oriented merchandise and clothing.

Prior to opening In The Groove, Curtis and his brother, Robin Miller, produced over 15 albums with their debut EP Millertime! This EP made it onto American Bandstand’s Rate-A-Record and reached the top 10 on national college radio airplay.

Curtis has also played drums for Pryor Baird and the Deacons who finished in the top 10 bands in the nation at the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis.

The Miller Broz. have been featured in numerous music sound tracks including “Journey to the Impact Zone” a surf film by Jeff Neu which aired at the Sundance Film Festival and was released as one of the top independent films of the year.

Curtis also plays drums for the very popular San Luis Obispo “beer grass” band, The Mother Corn Shuckers.
