A Great Musical Weekend of Fun on the Central Coast

Curtis at concerts in the plaza

Aloha from beautiful downtown Baywood Park, California.

Yesterday was a great musical day on the Central Coast… as are most days.

Last Monday was O’ Donna at Beer at the Pier which was a great time plenty of dancing and the usual love emitted from Jose and his wonderful family at La Palapa. By the way his chile rellenos are the BEST!

Saturday, we ventured up to Colony Deli in Atascadero to see Los Loco Gatos, which features the amazing Al Martinez on guitar with some great new members to the band. ,

Al shreds on Santana covers, as well as all their dance tunes. A fun time for sure and where else can you get a Monte Cristo sandwich? Yum!

We decided to go the long way home and stopped by Charlies Place on Foothill to see Che Miller and a couple of Shuckers jamming out to Corn Shucker songs and some new tunes from Che.

I even got to sit in on ‘Shakin’ Those Hips’ which got everyone dancing.

As we headed back to the coast the rain was starting to come down. Time to batten down the hatches and call it a night.

I am so thankful to live on the Central Coast and share in the good times with my best friend and dance partner, Sue Williams of Wallis Williams Design in Morro Bay. If you ever need first-class web design or marketing, she is definitely the pro source.

We both love our colorful friends and cohorts and are forever grateful there is so much entertainment here almost 7 nights a week!

Hope to see you out there soon!
